The Beacon 2020 Conference Has Been Cancelled
The coronavirus pandemic has upended many aspects of our lives. In response to social distancing guidelines and "stay at home" orders, we rapidly are transforming our institutions to continue providing high-quality learning opportunities for our students. This transformation is ongoing, time-consuming, hard work, and costly.
We are sad to announce today that we are cancelling Beacon 2020. The conference will not be postponed and will not be held online.
On April 2 and April 3, we will email all students, their Faculty Mentors, and the Category Readers and Panel Judges who agreed to serve this year. We're crafting concise messages we hope will address questions many participants are likely to have. Thank you for your understanding.
We wish you all good health and hope to see all of you at the end of the tunnel.
